Holistic Yoga Therapy
Holistic Yoga Therapy is our signature treatment at Ashiyana Goa. With 1 to 1, Yoga-based therapy sessions, our expert therapists work with you to gain a deeper understanding of your physical, mental and emotional goals and issues, and then work with you to co-create a bespoke practice for you to take away. This is a wonderful way to experience the traditional way that Yoga was taught in the Indian ashrams.
The essence of Holistic Yoga Therapy (HYT) is to invite you to listen to what your body is asking for. Then, with the support of our expert HYT therapists, you are empowered to create your personalised ‘wellbeing system’.
HYT can focus on any physical or emotional aspect – from emotional patterns and limiting belief systems, to physical issues that you would like to look deeper into the cause of and resolve.
Your first session is a detailed discussion relating to your physical body and general health history, as well as a review of your daily habits and routines related to sleep, diet, emotional states and lifestyle. This is followed by an assessment of your physical and breath patterns.
In the follow up session, your therapist will guide you through your individualised practice, incorporating aspects of asana (pose), pranayama (breath work), meditations, mantras, etc. You will receive a written sequence to take home as well as nutritional and lifestyle suggestions.

120 minute Consultation & 90 minute Follow-up
Additional 30 minute follow-up sessions
