It may seem like a huge challenge to reach your fitness goals and to have a body that pleases you., but the resolution to this problem lies in understanding the obstacles that stand in our way. In days gone by our daily work lives were physically demanding, and we were stretching, lifting and moving throughout much of the day. Today, the majority of us are living sedentary lives at a desk, staring at a computer screen. Because of this, it’s important that we stand up frequently, and move and stretch regularly throughout the day. In addition we need to make the time to visit a gym, go for walks, swim, run, play sport or whatever it is that we love to do.
Feeling fit and loving our body is as much a mental game as it is a physical one. In other words, we need to be clear about our goals, understand the constraints of our daily lives, and then create a plan which is not to too arduous and yet will yield the results that we seek in a reasonable time.
