Embodied Harmony is about bringing all the fragmented pieces of yourself together as one fully embraced, fully expressed, fully accepted whole.
HARMONY: Think of the different aspects of yourself. There are some you may pride yourself on, others that you wear a mask over. There may be some you’ve never put words to and still others that are on your mind daily. Perhaps different parts of you come alive around different people. Or maybe over the years, you've covered up, cast aside, changed, or altered certain parts of yourself in order to make others more comfortable, or to allow yourself to be more accepted.
Harmony is found by drawing together those disparate pieces of you into one beautiful song. The song that is your life. A song that is multi-layered and powerful. Every piece of you deserves to be sung.
EMBODIED: The embodied aspect means that this harmonious state isn’t some sort of conceptual construct but is instead is living and strong enough to survive a tough day at work. Vibrant enough to bring calm to the simplicities of life that might otherwise seem mundane (groceries, drives home from work and half-watched streaming dramas). Embodied means that you won’t just have a magical retreat experience and then go back to life as usual - you will have an incredible retreat experience, and you will be able to carry your transformation/awareness from the retreat back into your day-to-day living with new vibrancy.
Embodied Harmony is about bringing together and embracing all pieces and parts of yourself into one, integrated whole.
David Miller started teaching yoga in 2007 and has since taught nearly 9,000 yoga and meditation classes all over the world. He’s trained with luminaries such as Shiva Rea and Erich Schiffmann and his style is dynamic, playful, powerful and not afraid to get a little goofy. While he views yoga as a deep and resonant practice deserving of great respect, he tries not to take himself too seriously.
