About Lu
Lu Brites is a multi-talented professional in the Brazilian performing arts and yoga scene, beginning her journey at the tender age of 14. Her career, spanning over three decades, encompasses roles as a yoga instructor, dancer, actress, choreographer, body trainer, and movement director. Her extensive experience on stage and in the classroom lays the groundwork for the establishment of DOM School in 2019, a venture born from her vision.
DOM School's mission is to meld yoga—with its deep well of knowledge—with the arts, seen as a fountain of creative inspiration, to create a dynamic therapeutic process. The school aims to impart both theoretical and practical knowledge for the therapeutic transformation, development, and expression of individuals, marrying self-realization with the principles of personal and global sustainability.
Lu Brites enriches DOM School with her life’s work in the arts, yoga, and Jungian Therapy, providing an education that prioritizes health, creativity, and the most genuine expression of the self. Through her dedication, she seeks to motivate students to discover their potential in ways that are sustainable and creative, encouraging positive changes on both personal and global levels.
