INSTRUCTORS
Charlotte
Charlotte’s journey with yoga began over twenty years ago, amidst the demands of a high-stress city life. From her very first practice, she felt its profound ability to restore balance—physically, mentally, and energetically. This path led her to India, where she immersed herself in traditional teachings and gained her certification at a Sivananda center. For the past 12 years, she has taught at Ashiyana Goa and Spain.
To Charlotte, yoga is a sacred exploration—an invitation to move with awareness, connect with our breath, and turn inward. It is a practice of deep listening, both to the body and to the subtle wisdom within.
With over 15 years of experience in holistic bodywork, Charlotte’s understanding of the body has been shaped by her own healing journey. Recovering from neck and back pain caused by an accident and the intensity of modern life, she found profound relief through movement, breath, and the healing power of touch. She brings this awareness into her practice, offering a space where others can reconnect, release, and step into their own healing journey.
Tobie
Tobie, with a background in Psychology (BSc), initially turned to yoga for relief from chronic back pain. He began his formal training in London with AOCY and later deepened his practice in India.
Tobie’s work is influenced by techniques such as Dynamic & Osteo-thai massage, Chi Nei Tsang, and Fascial Release.
Whilst he sees Asana as a powerful mental and physical therapeutic tool, he believes strongly in the balance that can be obtained through a well-rounded Yoga practice. By trusting our own intuition, rather than any dogma, equanimity can be brought to all aspects of life. There is no substitute for experience.
Tobie is part of the Ashiyana Yoga School’s Teacher Training Faculty, leading trainings in Europe, Indo-Asia, and beyond.
