This immersive retreat will teach you how to build a pain-free body that lasts a lifetime. Through a holistic approach combining yoga, strength and mobility training, breathwork, meditation, rest and recovery you’ll develop habits that support longevity, vitality and resilience throughout life.

Many people today are trying a variety of physical activities (yoga, crossfit, pilates, weight training…) in an attempt to improve their health. Yet they are not always seeing real improvements in their body-mind’s capacity. This can be because the teacher does not prioritise the right things, the class/activity is not adapted to the individual, does not take into account specific injuries or limitations or many other factors.
During this week we will learn about the order of progression in yoga. When things are done in a specific order you will quickly see improvements in your body-mind, which will increase your capacity gradually over time. This is the slow, sustainable route, rather than the quick fix that many methods promise!

INSTRUCTORS
Andrea Freely
I’ve always been a mover. Growing up I played basketball and badminton, skied, swam, ran, biked, hiked and danced. I became a fitness instructor in 1990 and taught aerobics for over a decade. In 2002 I discovered yoga. I completed my teacher training in 2005 and in 2012 opened my own yoga studio in Nyon, Switzerland (yogamovesnyon.ch).
I’m passionate about helping people feel good in their bodies. My recent studies in biomechanics and fascia have deepened my understanding of what constitutes healthy movement, which allows me to read bodies and adapt the yoga practice to any individual. My classes are challenging but also playful – students are invited to do as much as they can on any given day and to stop whenever they need to rest. This gives them the freedom to challenge themselves if they wish, or to slow down if they feel overwhelmed. I never force a student into any posture. My aim is for students to leave the class feeling strong, calm and peaceful.
