300HR Yoga Teacher Training (4 week intensive)
A blend of traditional Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga in Goa
Yoga Alliance 300 hours certified
At Ashiyana we believe that the most important aspect of teaching is that you are able to express yourself from an open heart, discovering your inner peace and sharing this with others. Our highest intention is always that you be authentic, confident, loving, clear, and flowing with life. We intend to guide and empower you to be able to teach intuitively instead of merely following our, or someone else’s, ideas.
Rather than encouraging the accumulating of more information, the training is based on exploring, experiencing, and practicing. The syllabus reflects our primary objective of putting theory into practice. This training is an invitation for Level 1 graduates and experienced yoga teachers/practitioners to come together and train intensively for a deep immersion into the more subtle aspects of Yoga. We believe that this will transform both the way that you practice, and teach. Only those who already have 200hr certification will receive the Yoga Alliance 300hr certification, others will receive a certificate of completion.
UPCOMING TRAININGS AT ASHIYANA GOA:
- 19th NOV - 15th DEC 2023
OUR VISION
Our vision is that you, and those whom you teach, take yoga off the mat and into all aspects of your life. In this way Yoga moves beyond the body and becomes an inner journey. We wish to inspire you so that you can truly be all that you are, teach what you love, and therefore 'become the teaching', rather than merely teach a class.
WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR?
Anyone who is an experienced yoga teacher or practitioner and has an interest in, and natural inclination towards, the more subtle aspects of Yoga, including - asana, meditation, philosophy and spirituality. This course will therefore appeal to those who are seeking the understanding and tools to be able to offer a truly transformational and healing experience to their students. It will also prepare you for creating your own courses and trainings if this is something that you are considering.
THE COURSE
All trainees should have a well established self-practice which includes asana, pranayama, and meditation. The asana styles will mainly comprise: Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Restorative. With this range of practice styles available we will respond to the energetic needs of the group.
The training introduces and explores advanced yogic techniques and disciplines to support transformation, spiritual growth and personal development. The focus is on deepening and strengthening ourselves as yoga practitioners and yoga teachers. There is an emphasis on building one's sensitivity and raising one's threshold of perception to a higher level to explore and experience the subtle bodies and different levels of consciousness.
We expect a high level of commitment. This means applying yourself to the training with 100% focus, and with emotional maturity. We also request a yogic attitude of sensitivity, honesty, openness, equanimity, acceptance, and self-discipline.
STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE
This 4 week immersion has a challenging 6 days per week schedule. The asana, pranayama, meditation and other yoga disciplines in the training are only suitable for yoga practitioners who already have a regular practice and feel that they are physically, mentally and emotionally prepared to go to a deeper level of self-exploration.
The training is rooted in practice, experimentation and sharing, giving you the opportunity to fully embody the teachings. Through offering a broad spectrum of practices we ensure that you are able to evolve your own expression of Yoga which is in integrity with who you are. We embrace the realisation that while Yoga unites it is also a personal journey.
Around the world, there are mystical traditions that encourage the human being to awaken to the highest truth of existence. The practices may vary but the invitation is always the same - to raise one’s awareness through no longer identifying with the mind - the voice in your head. With proper instruction one remains grounded, compassionate, and can avoid the pitfalls of unhealthy ego identification. We will be exploring the practical and real-life application of philosophical teachings, including audio discourses from great spiritual masters and teachers of the past, such as Osho, Krishnamurti, Alan Watts and others. This will take the form of a daily ‘Satsang’ (meeting in truth), which is a beautiful way to absorb powerful teachings.
It is difficult, through words, to convey the depth and quality of our training, or the passion and experience of our teaching team. We therefore encourage you to get in touch for a VIDEO CALL, today, and have a chat with one of our senior teachers so that you can connect with us on a personal level and discuss the training in more detail.
