Gaia Ceccarelli

Born in 1979 in Tuscany, Italy, Gaia has always embraced movement and the body as an instrument to create harmony. She studied classical, modern and contemporary dance for almost 20 years. Her relationship with Yoga began in 2008 while trying to find solutions for stress and anxiety. That search pushed her to expand her knowledge and experience with different styles of practice, including Hatha yoga, Acro Yoga & Ashtanga Vinyasa.

In 2011 she studied with Tribe completing the level 1 Yoga teacher training in India. In 2014 she completed her level 2 training also with Tribe in Austria. She is now a senior teacher at Tribe. Since 2015 she is also part of the teaching team at Nosade teaching yoga retreats around Morocco.

Inspired by Vinyasa Yoga her teaching style emphasises body awareness and alignment, maintaining the attention on cultivating sensitivity, integrity and focus on the mat and in life. Her teaching style focuses on clear and precise instructions to lead students into a deep appreciation of the body-mind-soul connection. With her many years of experience facilitating retreats and trainings, Gaia has a magical ability to feel and understand exactly what the students' needs are. She leads them deeper into the practice in order to nurture and empower them towards change and transformation.

She teaches not only Vinyasa Yoga, but also Restorative Yoga , SUP Yoga, and  Yoga for Women. She is the founder at ‘Il Clan Della Dea’ - The Goddess Clan - a safe space to explore and nourish your feminine side in an all-female community. Sharing, listening, communicating, and acceptancing are just some of the essencial elements contained in that space for supporting women of all ages, who are in the process of reconnecting with their own feminine essence and power.

Nowadays Gaia teaches in Morrocco, India, Sri Lanka, Italy and other worldwide destinations in Yoga retreats and  200h and 300 h Yoga teacher trainings.
